We are seeking an experienced and visionary General Manager Finance to provide strategic financial leadership in a dynamic, high-performance organization.

This executive-level role is ideal for a commercially astute finance leader who excels in driving operational discipline, influencing strategy, and leading transformation in complex, regulated, or project-driven sectors.

Located in North Sydney's Rydalmere, on Darug land, your role purpose will be:

• Partner with the CFO and executive leadership to shape strategy, drive growth, and manage risk.
• Lead planning, forecasting, and reporting, providing insight to enhance performance and support decision-making.
• Modernise the finance function through automation, process improvement, and shared services optimisation.
• Work cross-functionally to align financial priorities with operational and commercial objectives.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure strong governance, controls, and compliance across all finance activities.

On day one in this role, we'll expect you to bring the following skills, experience, and behaviours:

• CA, CPA, or equivalently qualified, with executive experience in roles such as GM Finance, Head of Finance, Finance Director, or Divisional CFO.
• Experience in sectors such as defence, aerospace, engineering, infrastructure, or manufacturing will be highly regarded.
• Strong commercial acumen, including expertise in contract profitability, program finance, and risk management.
• A demonstrated ability to lead finance transformation, including process improvement, automation, and digital enablement.
• A collaborative leadership style, with the ability to influence across executive, operational, and corporate stakeholders.
• A track record of building capable teams and fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and high performance.
