Documenting Railway History

As a Cataloguer/Archivist, you will be responsible for systematically documenting artefacts, documents, photographs, and historical records to ensure their long-term integrity and discoverability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assign unique identifiers, describe items, and record relevant metadata in our system.
* Organise and rehouse archival materials to ensure preservation.
* Assist with digitisation projects for historical records.
* Support research inquiries by locating and retrieving documented items.
* Adhere to best practice standards for collections care.
* Collaborate with the Curator and other volunteers to enhance collection accessibility.
