What You'll Work On
This role is responsible for the management of strategic programs and projects related to Aviation Weather and National Meteorological and Hydrological Services across the Australian and Oceania Region. A core responsibility of the role will be linking into the global PMO group and feeding back any updates required on processes and products relevant for the region. Practitioner level interactions in person (as needed) with key clients throughout the region is also required. As CSA sees high growth potential in this geographical region, this will include working closely with the APAC Business Development Manager for a coordinated strategic effort in the region and contributing to CS's global goal of supplying equipment to 97 NMHS (National Meteorological and Hydrological Services) of the 193 WMO member countries by ****.
You'll Support Your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks
Work with the NHMS BD Manager and Sales Manager to address pipeline opportunities and existing projects across the NMHS of the Australian and Oceania region.
Play a key role in the coordination, tender preparation and submission for relevant tenders within the Australian and Oceania region.
Provide expertise during consultation and business development activities (online or in person) as required on selection of solutions and hardware/software designs.
Coordinate with software developers for the development of project software solutions.
Work with the Admin Project Support to ensure proper contract management from supply of hardware, contract signing, creating demand in local ERP, achieving milestones and financial obligations.
Own and maintain the relationship with key clients relevant to your area of work.
Provide technical advice and support on solution design where required, in particular in Aviation.
Educate clients on the best possible solutions to practitioner level, in particular for Aviation and Hydromet applications.

An appreciation and understanding of safety in the workplace.
An appreciation and understanding of best practice human resources principles.
Understanding and appreciation of technical related matters.
Practitioner level knowledge on Instrumentation in particular on Hydromet and Aviation.
Education & Qualifications
Formal qualification in Sciences or Business.
Sound knowledge in General Science or an affiliation with a scientific related field preferable.
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project Manager.
