We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Warehouse Person looking for the next step in their career.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of warehouse staff.
* Ensure accurate receiving, storage, and dispatch of goods.
* Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks.
* Implement and maintain warehouse processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety requirements.
* Train, mentor, and performance-manage warehouse staff.
* Operate and oversee the use of warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
* Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Investigate and resolve issues relating to damaged or missing stock.
* Prepare reports on warehouse performance, stock levels, and KPIs.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or team leader role.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Sound knowledge of warehouse operations, stock control, and inventory systems.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
* Understanding of workplace health and safety standards.
* Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
* Forklift licence (preferred or required depending on the role).
