We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Disability Support Workers to join our growing team (Age 38 - 42). As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for people with disabilities by promoting independence, empowerment, and social inclusion.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide person-centred support to individuals with physical, intellectual, or psychosocial disabilities
- Assist clients with daily living tasks including personal care, mobility, meal preparation, and medication assistance
- Support participants in accessing the community, engaging in social and recreational activities, and attending appointments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation and progress notes
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and other professionals involved in the participant's care
**Requirements**:
- Previous experience in disability support or a similar role (preferred)
- Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disability) or relevant qualification
- Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Working With Children Check
- Valid driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to support others
