Summary
Our Data & AI Practice is composed of globally recognized experts. As an Analytics Architect, you'll translate client business strategy into solutions, drive high‐impact outcomes through solutioning, support on strategic opportunities, intervene in high‐risk deliveries, and contribute to the strategic direction of data architecture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership, shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, create plans and roadmaps, and produce design artifacts.
- Assist clients in migrating or extending their investment in Microsoft Azure, applying cloud architectural patterns and migration strategies.
- Shape high‐level design, estimates, and contractual details for client proposals during the sales process.
- Coach and mentor junior colleagues across the organization.
- Translate complex technical solutions and present them to business decision makers, markets, and internal sales teams in various formats.
- Engage in early conversations with clients and sales teams, support origination and deal qualification, and act as a trusted advisor.
- Represent solutions in deal reviews, client presentations, and negotiations.
- Complete pricing using standard solution architecture processes, methods, estimating and modelling tools to drive quality and minimize time to solution, articulate deal pricing, and ensure deals are winnable and deliverable while mitigating risks.
Skills and Experiences
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft technology and proficiency in Azure AI services (Azure ML, Azure Cognitive Services, Azure Bot Services). Knowledge of similar cloud services in AWS and GCP is highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of ML model types, including large language models and training/adaptation approaches for different customer requirements.
- Proficiency in programming with Python (must have), R, or .NET (highly regarded).
- Awareness of market channels and experience working in the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
- High energy to help clients understand product and service evolution, including Azure Open AI, Fabric, and Co‐Pilot.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft funding processes such as ECIF, GTM Solution Plays, Marketplace, and GTM Workshop Offers.
- Experience creating technical visions, high‐level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large programs involving platforming or re‐platforming data solutions in Azure using tools such as Databricks and Fabric.
- Capability to create design artifacts and present them for approval at architectural forums attended by multi‐disciplined stakeholders from engineering to senior executives.
- Experience designing and delivering large‐scale enterprise‐grade AI solutions.
- Ability to identify and design for key architectural characteristics such as performance, security, and reliability.
- Proven success in consultative and complex technical sales and deployment projects.
- Extensive experience working with large complex enterprise accounts, architecting cloud solutions for data‐estate workloads, and implementing large‐scale data projects within the cloud environment.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; ability to drive decisions collaboratively, resolve conflicts, and follow through.
- Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence remote teams to ensure successful implementation of customer projects.
- Enterprise‐scale technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, database migrations, and technology management.

Eligibility & Location
Australian citizenship is required. Candidates must be eligible to obtain security clearance (existing clearance preferred but not mandatory). The position is open only for Sydney‐based resources.
