Grade 2 Podiatrist – Casual
Flexible shifts: school hours (9am–2pm) or full day (8am–4:30pm)
Casual hours available Monday to Friday
Work across City Campus, Royal Park Campus, Community sites, with varied caseload (wound care, biomechanics, minor procedures)
About The Royal Melbourne Hospital As a Casual Grade 2 Podiatrist, you will provide high-quality care to adults with complex foot health needs, with a focus on neurovascular conditions and diabetic foot management across hospital and community settings. You will support patients to prevent complications, promote healing, and maintain independence.
The Podiatry and Diabetic Foot Unit Services Royal Melbourne Hospital City and Royal Park campuses and community sites, working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver coordinated, patient-centred care, with strong support for supervision, professional development, and quality improvement.
Your New Role
Assess and manage adult podiatry patients with complex foot and lower limb conditions
Deliver evidence-based care for people with diabetes-related foot disease
Work across inpatient, outpatient and community settings
Contribute to multidisciplinary Diabetic Foot Unit clinics
Participate in supervision, professional development and quality improvement activities
About You
Registration as a Podiatrist with relevant clinical experience
Sound knowledge of lower limb neurovascular and diabetic foot conditions
Ability to work across acute and community healthcare environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to learning, supervision and continuous improvement
