Job Description
As a skilled Carpenter, you will play a pivotal role in our construction and maintenance projects based at Howard Smith Wharves and nearby Brisbane properties. Your expertise will be essential in delivering high-quality results and ensuring the success of our hospitality venues.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and coordinate on-site carpentry and construction activities to ensure seamless execution and adherence to timelines.
2. Liaise with supervisors to discuss project requirements, allocate tasks, and coordinate daily site activities.
3. Perform hands-on carpentry work, including framing, formwork, and finishing, while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
4. Manage materials, tools, and equipment to support efficient site operations and minimize waste.
5. Communicate effectively with supervisors, trades, and team members to foster a collaborative environment and resolve any issues that may arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of residential and renovation experience is required.
* Proficiency in all aspects of carpentry work, including framing, formwork, and finishing.
* A keen eye for detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.
* The ability to work autonomously and adapt to changing environments.
* Carpentry qualification and white card are mandatory.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
