Duties
The Bushfire Risk Unit (BRU) is responsible for formulating and delivering strategic risk mitigation strategies at a whole-of-state level. The Senior Bushfire Spatial Systems Architect is responsible for the design, development and management of spatial systems that underpin multiple program areas across the BRU. The position provides leadership in the development and management of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) infrastructure that supports the BRU. The position will also be responsible for designing and implementing innovative technical solutions that support large-scale bushfire simulation modelling as part of nationally significant project delivery.
