About the Role
There is an opportunity for a Supply Chain Analyst to work with our team in Adelaide.
This role involves working closely with the Australian Commonwealth and GDLS-US to analyse future demand and performance of spare parts across various vehicle platforms.
The key responsibilities include:
 * Capturing comprehensive analysis for future demand and performance analytics on spare parts
 * Leading analysis for spares forecasting and data gathering to support recommendations for optimal requirements and compliance
 * Supporting the Commonwealth with spares analysis and modelling initiatives
 * Conducting investigations including cost/benefit analysis in collaboration with stakeholders from the Commonwealth
 * Maintaining accurate parts lists of vehicles to ensure all requirements are captured and accounted for
 * Working with Sourcing Specialists to capture future demand and suppliers in database systems
 * Collaborating with international teams on spares forecasting and similar initiatives
 * Assisting with updates of plans, processes, procedures and instructions to improve efficiency
 * Working with Programs and the Commonwealth to understand requirements, price, and demand plan for procurement teams
 * Performing analytics to capture RFQ and PO placement efficiencies
 * Monitoring SCM generic email inbox and distributing correspondence accordingly
 * Generating weekly and monthly SCM reports and providing them to the appropriate Project Manager
 * Assisting with the preparation of SCM monthly reviews and weekly KPI report
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
 * Ability to research and collaborate with other Business Units and the Commonwealth
 * Strong verbal and written communication skills
 * Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to changing priorities
 * Ability to prepare and present analysis/presentations to Leadership and the Commonwealth
 * Interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills, preferably within the Defence industry
 * High Level Degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain Management
 * Ability to read technical drawings
 * Experience using database software, preferred
 * Experience within the defence or manufacturing industry, preferred
