About the role
Pineapple Tours is seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and reliable Tour Guide & Driver to help deliver premium tour experiences.
This contract position offers the opportunity to work directly with customers, ensuring a safe and comfortable journey. The role is based from the Gold Coast, with trips to Brisbane and Mt Tamborine.
What you'll be doing
* Safely operating small to large passenger buses along established routes and schedules
* Provide fun, engaging, and informative tours
* Assist guests with questions, photos, and general travel needs
* Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the safe operation of the vehicle
* Adhering to all relevant traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies
* Maintaining accurate records of trips, passenger counts, and any incidents or issues
* Assisting with the loading and unloading of passenger luggage as required
* Participating in ongoing training to enhance driving skills and customer service abilities
What we're looking for
* A valid light rigid or passenger transport licence with a proven track record of safe driving
* Minimum of 2+ years commercial driving experience required
* Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to provide a positive experience for passengers
* Strong time management and problem-solving skills to ensure on-time departures and arrivals
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with passengers and colleagues
* Commitment to safety and a keen attention to detail to maintain vehicle and passenger safety
* Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business
* Applicants mush have their own ABN
