Electrical Supervisor Job Description
This is a site-based position on a FIFO 8/6 roster based in the WA Goldfields.
The primary responsibilities of this role will include supervising and coordinating commissioning activities, overseeing and monitoring sub-contractor teams, planning and scheduling electrical work to meet project deadlines, ensuring all vendor execution packages comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations, liaising with design consultants, sub-contractors, and client operations teams, conducting inspections and quality checks on electrical systems and equipment, troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues efficiently, maintaining accurate records of work performed, materials used, and safety incidents, collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other trades to ensure smooth workflow, and enforcing safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering (not essential).
* Electrical trades certifications and Electricians License or Electrical Contractor License.
* EEHA Certification.
* Construction White Card.
Candidates should have at least 10-15 years of experience with site-based electrical systems commissioning and installation for mineral processing operations. A solid track record of managing and overseeing sub-contractors, package vendors, and consultants is also required. Strong knowledge of Australian Electrical Standards and State regulations is necessary. Additionally, a track record in maintaining a safety culture is essential.
