Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with key clients in the mining industry.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in account management, with experience working with customers in the mining sector. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Account Development:
o Develop and implement strategies to grow existing accounts and identify new business opportunities.
o BUILD STRONG RELATIONSHIPS WITH KEY CLIENTS THROUGH REGULAR COMMUNICATION AND PROACTIVE ENGAGEMENT.
* Sales and Quoting:
o Prepare and manage quotations, orders, and pricing through our company's ERP/CRM system.
o Meet and exceed quarterly targets for spare-parts revenue and service contracts.
* Technical Coordination:
o Collaborate with field-service teams to resolve on-site issues and optimize maintenance schedules.
o Ensure parts availability and logistics to minimize downtime.
* Customer Engagement:
o Represent the company at site events, industry forums, and customer workshops.
o Handle customer inquiries and escalations with professionalism and a solutions-focused approach.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Experience:
o 4-5+ years in mining-related account management or spare-parts sales.
o Proven track record with crushers, drill bits, mill liners, or similar equipment.
* Technical Aptitude:
o Mechanical curiosity and the ability to communicate effectively with operators and maintenance crews.
o Competent user of ERP/CRM systems (experience with Epicor is advantageous).
* Interpersonal Skills:
o Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.
o Resilient under pressure; adept at managing customer feedback and escalations.
