APG is currently seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for a 4-month contract within a NSW Government Sector.
- Pay Rate: $600 Per Day + Super
- Location: Fully Remote, can be located anywhere in NSW
- Contract Duration: 4 Months
**Primary purpose of the role**
Undertake a range of administrative activities to support project procurement along with operational activities and assist stakeholders to manage and deliver sourcing activities to effectively meet organisational and business objectives.
**Key accountabilities**
- Provide a range of procurement and support services to meet the business needs of the team/unit
- Respond to and resolve enquiries and requests to ensure the provision of accurate information, and the timely and effective resolution of issues
- Update and maintain documentation and records to provide support with operational activities to ensure accuracy and currency of information
- Provide project procurement support including monitoring and reporting on project plans, milestones and deliverables, to ensure time, cost and quality indicators are in line with approved project plans
- Assist in the preparation of procurement plan and other related documents/reports as per organisational framework to support informed decision making and planning
- Provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating committee and or stakeholder meetings and managing documentation to support service delivery outcomes
- Publish procurement requests on e-tendering portal and respond to queries as advised by stakeholders to support effective management of procurement activities
**Required Experience**:
- Government procurement skills
- Previous experience working in a procurement
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be located within NSW
