About the Role:
* Create, develop, and execute a comprehensive SEO strategy to boost organic performance online and in-store.
* Develop innovative initiatives to elevate search rankings and drive incremental foot traffic.
* Perform thorough audits of our portfolio and competitor gap/threat analysis.
* Optimise Google My Business platform to drive additional foot traffic via SEO.
* Conduct research, provide recommendations, and share strategies/tactics to enhance areas of improvement.
* Motivate and engage SEO Specialists within the team.
* Develop an optimised SEO Content framework for target.com.au, kmart.com.au, and kmart.co.nz.
Requirements:
* A minimum of 10-15 years' experience in a similar role or field.
* Extensive experience in organic content strategy, technical SEO, paid/organic search synergies, off-site link building, and SEO for CMS/e-commerce platforms.
* An experienced people leader of SEO teams across technical, content, and link building.
* Experience developing and implementing an SEO strategy for a large e-commerce business.
* Hands-on technical and content SEO optimisation experience with agency client-facing responsibility.
* Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, PHP, JavaScript, and other valuable media technologies.
* Advanced knowledge and experience of Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEO enterprise tools, SEO A/B testing tools, and Screaming Frog.
This is a highly collaborative role requiring exceptional senior stakeholder management across cross-functional teams.
