About the role:
Within your new role, you will be responsible for driving sales growth by acquiring new agent sales, maintaining strong relationships with existing agents, and supporting product promotion and technical service to achieve revenue targets in Victoria.
What you will be doing
Duties and responsibilities (include by not limited to):
* New Agent Sales Acquisition – Identify and secure new Laykold, synthetic grass, and playground agent sales in Victoria.
* Agent Relationship Management – Serve as the key point of contact for agent communications, maintaining strong relationships with existing agents.
* Sales Target Achievement – Establish and monitor agent product sales targets to ensure revenue goals are met.
* Product Promotion & Specification – Promote Laykold and synthetic grass products to key specifiers to support agent sales.
* Technical Support – Provide technical service to Laykold agents in collaboration with R&D.
* Sales Performance Monitoring – Track agent performance and align with budgeted expectations alongside the National Sales Manager.
* Marketing Input – Assist in identifying marketing needs for agent trading products in Victoria.
* Support other areas of the wider department in the absence of key personnel (e.g. National Sales Manager, other sales team members, customer service team members, marketing team members and R&D or Technical Support absences.
Performance Measures will include but not limited to:
* Sales & Revenue Targets
o Achievement of new agent sales in Victoria for Laykold, synthetic grass, and playground products.
o Meeting or exceeding budgeted revenue and sales targets set by the company.
* Agent Relationship Management
o Retention and satisfaction levels of existing agents.
o Success in gaining new agents and expanding the customer base.
* Market & Product Promotion
o Effectiveness in promoting products to key specifiers to drive agent sales.
o Engagement with marketing initiatives and product awareness efforts.
* Contribution to Team & Company Goals
o Collaboration with the National Sales Manager and Sales Team on sales strategies.
o Active participation in team meetings and sales planning.
* Customer Service & Support
o Responsiveness to agent and customer inquiries.
o Quality and timeliness of technical support and problem-solving.
* Reporting & Performance Monitoring
o Accuracy and timeliness in sales reporting and performance tracking.
o Contribution to setting and monitoring agent sales targets with the National
What you will need to succeed:
* Knowledge:
Sales & Account Management – Understanding of sales processes, agent management, and revenue generation strategies.
Product Knowledge – Familiarity with sports flooring materials, particularly Laykold, synthetic grass, and playground surfaces.
Market & Industry Trends – Awareness of the sports surfacing industry, key competitors, and market demands.
Key Specifier Engagement – Knowledge of how to promote products to architects, designers, and other decision-makers.
