Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our City Maintenance team as a Civil Maintenance Team Member.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver high-quality civil construction and maintenance services across the city of Charles Sturt, ensuring safe and efficient road footpath and drainage works.
* Operate plant and equipment with care and precision, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records and contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
* Provide excellent customer service to residents and stakeholders, responding to their needs and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
* Support a child-safe and inclusive community environment, fostering a positive and respectful work culture.
Requirements:
* High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field preferred.
* Minimum 2 years of experience in civil construction and maintenance, preferably in a similar role.
* Proven track record of delivering high-quality results, meeting deadlines, and exceeding expectations.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Certifications and licenses relevant to the position, such as OSHA certification and driver's license.
