Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team, supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services. The council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools across the LGA. All services have been rated as National Quality Standards for several years. Location options: Warwick Farm, Holsworthy & Hinchinbrook. 3 x Permanent Full-time roles, 38 hours per week. Salary range: $64,584.53 to $69,917.94 plus 12% super. This position is subject to a Working with Children check and a National Police Check, and may require a pre-employment medical check.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and the educating team to develop and support curriculum and learning environments.
* Foster strong nurturing relationships to encourage curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for learning.
* Contribute to the implementation and evaluation of high-quality, inquiry-based educational curriculums for children in our services.
* Assist with maintaining alignment with Early Childhood Regulations and contemporary theories/approaches to early childhood education and care.
Qualifications
* Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educator with a Diploma of Children's Services.
* Child protection training approved and recognised by ACECQA.
* First aid certificate.
* Detailed knowledge of child development and Early Childhood Regulations.
