NEW ROLE - Exciting new In-house role in Melbourne office of leading professional services and consultancy organisation operating primarily in the financial services space.
Our client is a leading professional services and consultancy organisation with a strong commitment to social justice. Recognised for its innovative approach, this firm is rapidly growing with offices in Melbourne, Sydney and London. There is now an opportunity for a Legal Counsel to work closely with the General Counsel in Melbourne across risk, compliance and BAU contractual matters.
Responsibilities
* Provide advice across risk and compliance, governance policies, contracts, privacy and cyber compliance as well as BAU operational contracts and corporate matters.
* Support the General Counsel across the group's general commercial operations.
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on risk, compliance and contractual obligations.
* Contribute to governance initiatives and policy development.
Role Details
This role will suit candidates with 2 to 6 years of experience in either risk, compliance, governance or commercial. The role is varied and will include working across risk, compliance, policies, contracts, privacy and cyber compliance as well as BAU contracts and corporate matters. This is a 12 month maternity leave contract with prospects of permanency.
