What We Are Looking For
We are introduction and continuing education in many fields. We're looking for a qualified Trainer and Assessor for Carpentry who is passionate about Vocational Education and wants to play an instrumental role in delivering quality training & assessment services to our students.
To be a successful trainer, you will need to have an in-depth knowledge of Construction Carpentry and a passion for mentioning and passing on your knowledge to the next generations. This role offers you the flexibility you're looking for with the potential for Part-Time or Full-Time hours. It's an opportunity to make a positive difference in the community whilst establishing a long-term career with ongoing professional development.
Qualifications and other requirements
- Hold TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment with the TAE upgraded units
- TAELLN411 Address Adult Language, Literacy And Numeracy Skills and TAEASS502
- Hold CPC30220 Certificate III Carpentry
- Hold CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways
- Design And Develop Assessment Tools or equivalent
- Recent Industry Currency relevant to the industry you'll be teaching in
- Willingness to travel to student workplaces when necessary (Fuel Card & Travel Allowance provided)
Experience
- Carpentry Trainer and Assessor: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification
- CPC30220 Certificate III Carpentry (preferred)
- CPC20220 Certificate II in Construction Pathways (preferred)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (preferred)
