Job Overview
The Senior Project Officer will be responsible for coordinating projects, supporting planning approvals, stakeholder engagement, procurement, and the delivery of capital works within required deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare scopes of work and programs for infrastructure renewal or repair, including visitor or operational buildings and structures, and heritage assets.
* Manage project design from concept development to final documentation, ensuring compliance with relevant standards, guidelines, and stakeholder requirements.
* Prepare tender documents, create work orders, and oversee construction works, ensuring environmental and WHS compliance.
* Prepare content for progress reports and stakeholder communication.
Requirements
* Appropriate tertiary qualifications or equivalent professional experience.
* Project-management skills and experience, with an understanding of contemporary best practice in procurement, tendering, contract preparation, team management, and risk-management policies.
* Demonstrated experience in developing, implementing, and reviewing strategic plans, policies, and programs, and providing operational advice and recommendations.
