Description Reporting to the Service Manager, Workshop Manager supports the Adelaide operations team in providing best in class service for our ever expanding and loyal customer base of Automotive, mining and power generation clients. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Manage and Supervise Service Technicians and Service Team Leaders, coordinating work schedules and communicating repair plans aligned with customer requirements. Monitor technician productivity and repair quality, providing coaching, performance reviews, and opportunities for professional development. Manage service logistics, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. Develop and review accurate quotes for customers, communicate updates on repair status, and address any concerns related to Cummins or distributor warranties. Support continuous improvement activities by reviewing and adapting processes to align with changing customer expectations and organizational goals. Provide first-level technical support to technicians and escalate issues as needed, ensuring seamless resolution and documentation of service activities. Responsibilities To be successful in this role, you will need the following: Experience as a qualified technician, working with engine products Qualified Diesel Mechanic. A customer-focused mindset to build strong relationships and deliver solutions that meet client needs. Proven leadership skills to provide clear direction, manage conflict, and ensure accountability.
