With a vision of "healthy food for all", Foodbank Victoria is an independent, for-purpose organisation that has been providing vital food relief to vulnerable Victorians for more than 90 years. Through a network of more than 500 charity partners across the State, Foodbank Victoria can provide 1.8 million meals a month to Victorians in need. Foodbank Victoria also assists Victorians through times of crisis as the State's dedicated emergency food relief organisation. In an creative approach to fighting hunger, Foodbank Victoria works with some of Australia's leading food manufacturers to secure a sustainable supply of essential items and runs programs to target vulnerable groups, such as school breakfasts and pop-up markets.
**About the role**
In this newly elevated position, the Head of People & Culture will raise human resources practices while maintaining a culture of engagement and best practice. As a trusted adviser and reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, the appointee will provide leadership to ensure that the organisational capacity and capability are in place to support strategic goals. In addition to designing the people strategy, responsibilities include implementing frameworks, policies, systems and processes for consolidation and growth. Overseeing continuous quality improvement, and the engagement and retention of the organisation's diverse and highly skilled workforce will be critical in this position. Embedding culture, values and behaviours and the demonstration of thought leadership will be key to the success of this role.
