Opportunity:
Our organization is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team.
This role will be embedded within a Defence unit to ensure the seamless execution of efficient and effective planning, resource allocation, work order administration, procurement, and monitoring of parts, as well as performance reporting.

As a Maintenance Planner, you will be responsible for:
* Planning Australian Defence Force (ADF) network maintenance activities and programmed maintenance activities
* Using Commonwealth Mandated Information Systems for managing work orders and requisitioning and managing parts
* Liaising with Defence clients to schedule weekly, monthly, and annual maintenance planning
* Ensuring clear communication between the team, Defence members, and APS staff, as well as external industry client contacts
* Contributing to continuous innovation by identifying improvement initiatives, analyzing and recommending improvements to current practices
Requirements:
* Previous experience in planning and scheduling mechanical maintenance activities within a complex industrial environment
* Trade or tertiary qualification in a mechanical or engineering field and/or tertiary qualification in planning, scheduling, or related field
* Intermediate experience with Microsoft Office 365 and working knowledge of SAP
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
Eligibility Criteria:
Must be eligible to hold a Defence Security Clearance. As a result of this requirement, the applicant must be an Australian Citizen.
