Event Operations Manager Role
The Event Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth daily operations, exceptional venue presentation, and supporting the delivery of world-class events.
* Oversee event operations and delivery for all contracted events.
* Manage operational elements including security, ticketing, customer service, food and beverage, and digital requirements.
* Develop and implement the Venue Security Plan and Security Risk assessments.
* Transform event delivery and venue operations through new models.
* Manage stakeholder relationships with hirers, sports partners, and service providers.
* Ensure proactive communication with hirers, community clubs, local government, internal staff, and maintain a unified narrative.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead estimate and settlement processes for all contracted events.
* Drive financial performance through effective budget and expense management.
* Assume the role of Venue Manager, Deputy, and/or Chief Warden as required.
* Lead, manage, and develop a team of skilled individuals.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 4 years' experience in event management or operations at a senior level.
* Current Chief Warden certificate, or willingness to complete.
* Satisfactory Working with Vulnerable People Card.
* Satisfactory Police Check.
* Current Driver's Licence.
