Job Title: Merchandise Officer Volunteer
The Merchandise Officer plays a pivotal role in the club's operations, responsible for overseeing all merchandise sold during matches and other events. This includes ensuring the correct Guernseys are issued to teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Guernsey Management: Maintain accurate records of issued club Guernseys, including sizes, numbers, and quantities.
* Merchandise Sales: Ensure merchandise is available for sale at home games and club events, with an attractive display that promotes items through various means.
* Stock Management: Collaborate with the treasurer to maintain adequate stock levels, ordering more as needed.
* Sales Tracking: Keep accurate records of all sales made.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Maths Understanding: Strong comprehension of basic mathematical concepts (addition, subtraction, multiplication).
* Customer Service: Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to diffuse aggressive situations.
* Independence: Ability to work independently without constant supervision.
* Relationship Building: Capacity to grow and maintain relationships.
* Qualifications: No formal qualifications required; experience in a similar role is advantageous, and the position can be learned on the job.
