School Health Care Specialist
Job Description:
In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of students. This involves providing expert care and first aid to students with complex medical conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement policies and procedures in compliance with legislation.
* Provide direct care to students with chronic medical issues and other illnesses.
* Serve as an educational resource to empower staff with knowledge and best practices needed to support students with specific healthcare needs.
Requirements:
* Be a Registered Nurse with AHPRA experience.
* Hold current Level 2 First Aid certification.
* Demonstrated experience in paediatric nursing or a related field preferred.
* Strong skills in developing policy and procedures in alignment with legislation.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
* Dedication to providing compassionate care and support to students.
