Heavy Industrial Equipment Operator
We are seeking a reliable and experienced 8T forklift operator to join our steel fabrication facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for operating large forklifts safely and efficiently to move heavy steel components.
* Loading and unloading trucks with materials up to 18 metres in length
* Liaising with production and dispatch teams to meet daily scheduling and delivery requirements
* Conducting pre-start checks and ensuring machinery is maintained to safety standards
Key qualifications include:
* Current forklift (LF) license with demonstrated 8T experience
* Minimum 2 years of experience operating large forklifts in a steel, logistics, or industrial environment
* Ability to interpret load plans and basic workshop documentation
* Strong understanding of load security, spatial movement, and safe operation practices
