Overview
This is a permanent opportunity with a well-established engineering team delivering major mining and mineral processing projects, covering both Brownfields and Greenfields work.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead 3D modelling and layout design for Mining, Port, and Mineral Processing projects
* Drive Brownfields optimisation, constructability, and safety improvements
* Deliver Greenfields plant layouts from concept through to construction
* Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams
* Mentor junior designers and provide technical guidance
* Take ownership of design packages and deliver with a high level of autonomy
Requirements
* 5–10 years' experience as a Mechanical / SMP 3D Modeller within Mining & Minerals Processing
* Strong expertise in materials handling systems and process plant layouts
* Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, Advanced Steel, Navisworks, Inventor, Tekla, and MicroStation
* Proven experience delivering both Brownfields and Greenfields projects
* Strong communication, coordination, and mentoring skills
