About the role
Reporting to the Trade Centre Manager, you'll support the day‑to‑day operation of a busy trade centre, ensuring excellent customer service, accurate stock control and safe warehouse practices. This is a temp‑to‑perm opportunity, with the intention to convert to a full‑time permanent position for the right candidate.
Key responsibilities
* Provide professional, friendly customer service at the trade counter
* Process orders, delivery dockets, invoices and related documentation
* Pick, pack, dispatch and receive goods
* Load and unload vehicles and assist with stock put‑away
* Undertake cycle counts and participate in stocktakes
* Tint paint and handle products safely
* Maintain a clean, organised and safe work environment
* Assist with reporting and basic data entry
* Step in to support Trade Centre operations during manager absence
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in warehousing, trade counter or storeperson roles
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Forklift licence (essential)
* Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely
* Good attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable using computer systems (SAP experience desirable)
* Team‑focused, proactive attitude
