An established and well-regarded hospitality and entertainment organisation is seeking a Finance Officer to join its finance team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, responsibility, and keeping the financial engine running smoothly.
*Key Responsibilities*
Accounts Payable & Receivable
* Process invoices, payments and receipts
* Ensure correct approvals and coding
* Investigate and resolve variances or anomalies
Bank Reconciliations
* Complete weekly bank reconciliations
General Ledger Support
* Prepare journal entries
* Maintain accurate financial records
Month-End & Reporting
* Assist with month-end close and reconciliations
* Prepare reports for senior finance staff
* Provide BAS reconciliation support
Compliance & Audit Support
* Maintain documentation for internal and external audits
* Ensure transactions comply with internal policies
* Maintain clear audit trails and financial documentation
Stakeholder Liaison
* Liaise with managers, suppliers and auditors
* Respond to finance-related queries from senior stakeholders
Continuous Improvement
* Support process improvements
* Assist with ad-hoc finance tasks as required

* Previous experience in a similar finance or accounts role
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Comfortable working with financial systems and reconciliations
* A proactive, team-oriented approach
