This role offers a unique opportunity to lead complex property insurance claims with significant autonomy. You'll manage end-to-end claims from assessment to resolution, specialising in strata or commercial property claims. Key Responsibilities
* Manage end-to-end claims for commercial and domestic property insurance, focusing on strata claims
* Conduct site inspections, assessing damage and photographing evidence for claim reports
* Enter detailed findings into systems and prepare comprehensive reports for insurers
* Provide expert recommendations on coverage and claim outcomes based on policy interpretation
* Maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary contact for complex claims scenarios
Requirements
* Proven experience handling property claims, ideally within insurer or broker environments
* Solid understanding of property, strata, or commercial insurance claims for Australia
* Strong assessment skills, with the ability to interpret damage and policy coverage
* Ability to work autonomously with minimal oversight and manage caseloads efficiently
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Car and valid driver's licence—maintaining a safe, reliable vehicle is essential
