We are a super busy accounting firm located in Mt Evelyn and are looking for a part-time receptionist/administration officer to join our team.

This is not a normal receptionist position, as there are many facets to the role and the work is varied and constantly changing, answering phones is only a small part of the job. There is also a decent amount of an administration work on the role.

The successful candidate will be front of house on the reception desk. This position involves meet and greet, answering phones, preparing client files for inward and outward correspondence, answering client queries, liaising with the ATO, general office duties, emailing, etc.

If you have excellent typing skills and great attention to detail, without the reliance of spell check and an excellent word per minute typing speed, then this could be the job for you!

Can you multitask, work well under pressure and still prioritise?

Do you have a friendly, bright and bubbly personality and offer great customer service skills? Can you hold a conversation with a client and enjoy some chit chat whilst they are waiting ?

Do you have a fantastic memory, enabling you to put the personal touch into client conversations?

Prior experience in an accounting firm bumps you up the list, but is not the only criteria.

Being well dressed, well presented and well spoken, whilst being able to adapt and converse with all walks of life is an asset. You would be working with a fantastic small team, consisting of accountants, bookkeepers and administration staff. We work hard, enjoy a good laugh and pride ourselves on the quality of work we provide. It is important that we are the right for you, as you are for us and our clients.

This role is 9am to 5pm and will NOT suit those looking for school hours. The days available are Wednesday and Thursdays with relief options on other days available on occasion.

Remuneration will be offered at \"above\" the clerks award with experience and capabilities taken into account, however the range listed is the pay bracket. Immediate start available for the ideal candidate. Preference will be given to those living in the Yarra Valley or within close proximity.
