About The Role
We are seeking an experienced Practice Manager to oversee the operations of our consultancy. This senior role reports to the Directors and is responsible for managing the business functions that enable our project teams to deliver.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee financial operations including invoicing, payroll, accounts, and reporting
* Manage HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, and staff records
* Support business development through fee proposals, tenders, and networking activities
* Implement and maintain Bellcorp's Integrated Management Systems (Quality, WHS, Environmental)
* Provide executive assistance support to Directors, including scheduling and correspondence
* Manage office operations and contribute to governance and compliance activities
This role is office-based in Wollongong, and is a full or part time position (minimum 3 days per week).
About You
You are an organised and proactive professional who thrives in a busy consultancy environment. You will ideally bring:
* 5+ years' experience in practice, office, or business management
* Tertiary qualifications in business, management, or related discipline preferred (equivalent professional experience will be considered)
* Strong financial management and reporting skills (QuickBooks experience desirable)
* Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
* Experience managing HR processes and compliance frameworks
* Strong MS Office skills and adaptability with new systems
* A professional, discreet, and collaborative approach
* Authorisation to work in Australia (Australian citizenship, permanent residency, or valid work visa)
