Your Role
The Total Loss Team Manager is responsible for the proactive day-to-day management of the Motor Total Loss Claims teams, ensuring claims are handled efficiently considering cost, quality, and timeliness, while delivering excellent customer service.
You will also contribute to the success of the Claims Team and demonstrate behaviors aligned with Hollard’s values to achieve operational targets and organizational strategy.
This role is fully remote or hybrid depending on location, open to candidates in NSW, QLD, or VIC. Sydney-based candidates may need to attend the office occasionally.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Motor Claims, your main responsibilities include:
1. Monitoring team performance and preparing performance reports
2. Managing and developing your team, including training and identifying development opportunities
3. Maintaining claims KPIs, guidelines, and updating process manuals
4. Following leadership operating rhythms, including coaching and operational reporting
5. Identifying opportunities to improve business performance and customer service
6. Building strong relationships with service providers
7. Resolving client, supplier, or service provider complaints within agreed service levels
Your Knowledge & Experience
* Strong knowledge of insurance claims disciplines, practices, and products, including regulatory requirements
* Proven team management and leadership skills
* Experience managing Motor Total Loss teams
* Experience leading remote teams (mandatory)
