Seeking Assistant General Manager for the Manufacturing Industry

Your new role
You will be responsible for the following
- Work closely with General Manager to manage all manufacturing, distribution, process, sales and administrative staff
- Manage procurement in the absence of General Manager
- Resource & roster staff accordingly with workload
- Monitor and review labour reports
- Recruitment and selection of staff
- Coach and mentor direct reports
- Participate in any external or internal audits and act on results
- Manage ongoing process improvements resulting in operational efficiency
- Lead the company towards effective and profitable growth through business improvement and increased productivity
- Lead and work with the sales team to ensure expansion of market share
- Analysis of sales results - Profit and Loss
- Monitor WHS performance including compliance with legal regulations and internal procedures
- Act as a role model by demonstrating safe work behaviours
What you'll need to succeed Ideally, you will have:

- Proven relationship building skills
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Results driven and a motivation to succeed
- Proven experience leading a team
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure
- High level of business acumen
- Ability to make decisions under pressure
- MYOB and Excel experience advantageous
