Are you ready to step into a role where your organisational skills and friendly approach truly make a difference? As an Administration Officer in our Casual Pool, you'll be a vital part of our healthcare team, helping to keep the wheels turning behind the scenes at Kangaroo Island Health Service.

This is a great opportunity to enjoy the flexibility of casual work while supporting your local community. From patient admissions and reception duties to records management and general admin, your day will be varied, fast-paced, and rewarding.

The Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network runs from Kangaroo Island to Eudunda, wrapping all the way around our metropolitan areas (this position is on Kangaroo Island). YOUR WORK LOCATION IS AS SPECIAL AS THE JOB YOU WILL DO

Here at Kangaroo Island, you will be just a short trip from the mainland by ferry or flight. You will experience a unique blend of natural beauty, wildlife encounters, and local experiences. * Do you enjoy working with people and have strong communication skills, including with people from diverse backgrounds?
* Can you manage competing priorities and stay calm under pressure, even during busy or changing situations?
* Are you confident using Microsoft Office and data entry systems, and able to learn new processes quickly?

* Provide exceptional customer service at front-of-house and over the phone, supporting patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and warmth.
* Maintain accurate patient records and assist with admissions, discharges, and data entry into our clinical systems.
* Support theatre and ward administration, ensuring all paperwork and communication processes are timely and efficient.
* Work flexibly across departments, contributing to a positive team environment and helping improve systems and services through continuous improvement efforts.

WHAT ELSE DO YOU NEED TO KNOW/WHAT IS ESSENTIAL FOR SUCCESS?
