Overview
Oversee crane operations, ensuring the fleet is well maintained and manage day to day running of equipment. Achieve monthly and annual sales targets through active business development, introducing our crane and transport equipment and services to new clients.
Build and maintain relationships with customers, provide expert consultation on crane configurations, conducting lift studies and ensuring the best solutions for their needs. Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotes and product solutions to clients to secure long term continued work.
Ensure a smooth mobilisation as well as de-mobilisation of the cranes, communicating with transport suppliers and clients including providing AutoCAD drawings as required. To ensure the efficiency, safety and performance is met across the operations you will need to lead and manage a dedicated crane team.
A report to Senior Management based on sales performance, operational issues, marketing opportunities and any risks. Travel when needed to optimise and manage sale enquiries, business opportunities and crane mobilisation and demobilisation tasks.
A company car and phone will be supplied.

Qualifications
- Proven experience in crane operations management, sales, or business development within the equipment industry.
- Minimum 1-2 years of crane operations management experience is required.
- Crane operations management experience is specifically required for this position.
- Strong knowledge of crane and fleet management, mobilisation process and maintenance.
- Excels in negotiations, communication and relationship building.
- Ability to develop and execute sales strategies to meet Perryman Group targets.
- Competent in preparing proposals, quotes and lift studies for clients.
- Proficiency in using AutoCAD for crane drawings is highly desirable; basic AutoCAD proficiency is required for crane drawings.
- Solid leadership skills and ability to manage a team.
- Willingness to travel to extend business opportunities and meet customer requirements.
