Experience

* Demonstrated success in developing and implementing curriculum in alignment with the NSW curriculum
* Experience in assessing and reporting on student learning, using a variety of tools and strategies
* Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain a positive, supportive learning environment
* Competence in using technology and digital tools to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes


Essential Criteria

* Bachelor\'s degree in education or a relevant field (teaching qualification)
* Registration with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)
* Approval to teach mathematics for Years 7 to 12
* Knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and NESA requirements
* Demonstrated commitment to the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers (AITSL)
* Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NSW syllabus documents, including the ability to respond to student learning needs
* Participation in co-curricular or extracurricular activities, camps, or school events

The successful applicant will possess or be willing to obtain the following: NSW Working with Children Check, National Criminal History Check (Newcastle Anglican will consider the relevance of any reported outcomes) and will be committed to our school values and proactively contribute to our team. Applicants will be screened for appropriate child protection purposes as we are a Child Safe School.
