The Role
An opportunity has become available for several Clinical Nurses (Renal Dialysis) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will
* Provide clinical leadership utilising advanced clinical skills and knowledge
* Provide renal education to patients through a multidisciplinary team
* Manage and Lead portfolios within the unit, practice and contribute to safety
* Provide flexibility in the workplace environment to meet patient needs
About you
To be successful in this position you will require:
* Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent
* Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
* Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B
* Tuberculosis screening, to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
* Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
* Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost)

* Permanent Part time (several part time positions, hours negotiable)
* Base salary ranging from $ $58 30 per hour

The Kidney Dialysis Unit is a new 12 chair unit providing Haemodialysis treatments to patients with Chronic and End stage renal failure. Operating 6 x days per week and expanding the unit to meet growth and demand for Renal Services across the Gold Coast Hospital & Health Service.
