**About Us**:
Pittsworth State High School is a rural secondary school located in Pittsworth, about 30 minutes west of Toowoomba. We currently cater for approx. 500 students. At Pittsworth State High we have a proud tradition in preparing students for tertiary study, further training or work options, aligning with our vision of 'Shaping Futures'.Our modern, state of the art facilities include Performing and Visual Art Centres, Science laboratories, specialised Industrial Technology and Hospitality areas, a spacious Resource Centre and a newly constructed Multi-Purpose Hall including stage and Gymnasium.

**About the Role**:
Responsibilities include, but not limited to;
- Cleaning and maintaining equipment
- Cobweb and mildew control, utilising extendable equipment as necessary
- Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt and paved surfaces
- Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings
- Security such as activating and disarming school security systems as required and locking and unlocking buildings
- Liaison such as liaising with Principal/Business Manager concerning purchase and/or replacement of cleaning materials
- Reporting security, safety, damage concerns to the Principal/Business Manager or Schools Officer (Facilities and/or Grounds)
- Referring members of the public to relevant school personnel as required
