Farm Manager – Scenic Rim
Kalfresh is an innovative, fast-growing Queensland horticultural company focused on farming, processing and marketing fresh conventional and certified organic vegetables across Australia and select export markets.
We're early adopters of precision ag-tech and invest in fit-for-purpose machinery to boost productivity and sustainability. Our diversification into bioenergy production will see future rotational energy crops further support soil health and food crops.
With our head office in Kalbar (Scenic Rim) and farming operations across South East and North Queensland, we are united by a passion for producing high-quality, nutrient-rich fresh produce while creating a better farming future for our people, our communities and the environment.

• Monitoring crop performance, assisting and implementing pest, disease and soil management programs
• Maintaining farm infrastructure including irrigation systems, plant and equipment
• Supporting implementation and providing recommendations for farm plans, budgets and production schedules
• Supervising and supporting farm staff to promote a safe and productive work environment
• Operating, servicing and maintaining farm machinery and implements
• Contributing to continuous improvement of farm systems, yield and quality outcomes
• Working flexibly during peak production periods in response to seasonal and weather conditions
About You
We are looking for someone with practical farming experience and a willingness to take ownership of outcomes on farm.
Candidates may come from horticulture, irrigated row cropping, mixed farming or similar production environments.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally bring:

• A strong interest in crop production and farm operations
• Practical machinery operation and basic maintenance skills
• The ability to lead by example and work collaboratively with farm teams
• Sound organisational and communication skills
• A current driver's license
• Chemical accreditation (or willingness to obtain)

• Relevant trade qualifications or tertiary studies in agriculture (advantageous but not required)
Most importantly, you will demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic and a solutions-focused approach to farm operations.
