**About the role**:
As a Finance Business Partner, you will be primarily responsible for financial and management accounting duties within the Corporate Services business unit.
This role requires you to be highly motivated, capable of strong teamwork and also autonomous work, able to lead organisational development and process change as the business evolves.
You will be highly organised, technically strong, professional and commercially focused.
**What would your day to day look like?**
- Provide financial and management accounting services
- Manage the month end closing procedures
- Provide financial advice, develop budgets and forecasts
- Establish strong financial project governance, including standardised models and processes
- Manage and provide the balance sheet reconciliations, relevant month end results analysis against budgets and forecasts for business areas
- Prepare financial reports focusing on financial performance
- Provide business case support for projects and represent Finance on project boards
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate accounting processes
- Implement and maintain financial controls and processes to ensure the integrity of the general ledger
**Your skills and experience**:
- Tertiary qualifications in accounting or a related discipline
- CA/CPA membership or equivalent
- Demonstrated work experience in a similar position (4+ years preferred)
- Strong, demonstrable Excel skills
- Well-developed quantitative, financial and commercial analytic skills
- Ability to develop business acumen, strategic planning, decision-making abilities across the business
- Experience on PowerQuery, Power BI, TM1, Oracle Financial Suite (or similar financial system) is highly desirable.
