Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Financial Administrator to join our team in a permanent opportunity. This role involves managing financial records and providing bookkeeping services to businesses.
Key Responsibilities:
* Software Implementation & Training: Assist clients with setup, onboarding, and troubleshooting of accounting software such as Xero, MYOB, and Reckon.
* Month-End & Year-End Processes: Manage reconciliations, financial reporting, and compliance tasks.
* Payroll Management: Process payroll, including STP reporting, superannuation payments, and reconciliations.
* Accounts Processing: Handle accounts payable & receivable, ensuring accuracy and timely payments.
* Tax Compliance: Prepare and lodge BAS & IAS statements in line with ATO requirements.
* Client Engagement: Attend meetings independently or with accountants to provide financial insights and recommendations.
* Process Improvement: Help clients streamline their financial and administrative systems for efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
* A minimum Certificate IV in Bookkeeping or Accounting (or equivalent).
* At least 2+ years of experience in bookkeeping, preferably in a multi-client environment.
* Proficiency in Xero (essential) and familiarity with MYOB / Reckon.
* Petty cash handling skills would be an advantage
* Must have full working rights in Australia.
