The Opportunity
We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Hobart, TAS. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene at a single site.
Duties
* General cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing
* Cleaning and disinfecting offices, amenities, public areas, and lunchrooms
* Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
* Operating machinery such as buffers, scrubbers, and floor sweepers
* Waste removal and replenishment of consumables
* Adhering to WHS procedures and site requirements
* Delivering consistent, high-quality service and meeting client expectations
Mandatory requirements
* Australian Citizen (essential - due to security clearance requirements)
* Ability to obtain or currently hold a Baseline or higher Australian Government Security Clearance
* Current National Police Check (issued within the last 3 months, or willing to obtain)
Skills and Experience
* Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
* Reliable transport
* Strong understanding of cleaning processes and hygiene standards
* Good communication and time management skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: From $29.73 per hour
Experience: Cleaning: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification: National Police Certificate (preferred); Driver Licence (preferred)
