About the Position:
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Professional to support our Melbourne operations. As a Sales Manager, you will drive growth within retail accounts by increasing sales and market share.
Main Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve profitable unit volume growth in designated territories.
* Build strong relationships with existing customers, understanding their needs and providing customised solutions.
* Identify and pursue new business opportunities, prospecting potential clients and converting leads into sales opportunities.
* Conduct site visits to demonstrate products and provide technical advice.
* Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitive activities.
* Participate in programs designed to promote products and sales activities.
* Utilise technical knowledge to assist in the preparation of estimates and tenders.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Tertiary Qualification in Business or related field - desirable.
* Previous sales experience within the Material Handling industry.
* Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
* High level of computer literacy.
* Advanced time management and organisational skills.
