Body Sense Physiotherapy – Joondalup & East Perth and Surrounds
Body Sense is growing, and we are seeking a passionate and motivated Accredited Exercise Physiologist to join our high-performing multidisciplinary team. This 0.5 FTE role (approximately 15–20 hours per week) offers flexibility, stability, and the opportunity to increase hours as the caseload grows.
You will work alongside experienced musculoskeletal and pain physiotherapists, including Titled and Specialist clinicians, within a supportive environment that values clinical reasoning excellence and best-practice care for complex presentations.
About the Role
* 0.5 FTE (approx. 15–20 hrs/week) with scope to increase as demand grows.
* Work collaboratively with senior MSK and pain physiotherapists.
* Gym-based rehabilitation inhouse and across local facilities (travel required).
* Mixed caseload: private, WorkCover, workplace rehab, persistent pain.
* Renumeration in line with Award Rate and level of experience.
* Regular mentoring and structured professional development provided.

Key Responsibilities
* Deliver high-quality assessment and tailored exercise rehabilitation.
* Support clients with musculoskeletal injuries, workplace injuries, and chronic or complex pain.
* Facilitate graded exposure and functional reconditioning programs in clinic and local gyms.
* Communicate effectively with physiotherapists, GPs, case managers, and other stakeholders.
* Maintain excellent clinical documentation and attend case conferences when required.
Essential Criteria
* Accredited Exercise Physiologist with current ESSA registration.
* Current driver's licence and reliable vehicle (required for gym visits and off-site sessions).
* Strong interest in:
* Workplace rehabilitation
* Complex and chronic pain
* Musculoskeletal conditions
* High-level communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in private practice or compensable schemes.
* Prior involvement in workplace rehabilitation or pain-management pathways.
* Familiarity with graded exposure, pain-science-informed practice, or CFT-style approaches.
