Our corporate culture values collaboration both with our clients and internally with each other. This cohesive team spirit means we also have a lot of fun and it's what makes being part of LJ Hooker Manuka so great. We are highly focused on ongoing training and love seeing people reach their career goals.
The Opportunity:
We are seeking a like-minded person to join our established Property Management team as a Property Manager. The role is varied and will include building and maintaining client relationships, organising and undertaking inspections, actioning maintenance requests and preparation of necessary checklists for landlords and tenants, lots of problem-solving, and ensuring compliance to industry standards.
Highly capable teams in administration, leasing and accounts provide key support.
We are committed to continuous learning and development, and there are plenty of training opportunities to enable you to grow your professional capabilities with us.
We value our staff and organise staff-led team social activities.
About You:
A strong interest in real estate specifically in the management of properties is essential.
Personal qualities of resilience, determination, a solutions-focused mindset, and a sense of humour will serve you well in this role. Much of the job involves liaising with clients, as such well-rounded communication skills are essential (both written and verbal), being equally comfortable engaging face-to-face, over the phone or by email.
You will be a natural self-starter, who enjoys working both autonomously within your portfolio and collaboratively across a very connected team.
Whilst previous experience would be helpful, it is not essential. Other customer service-focused roles across a range of industries requiring the ability to prioritise, organise, negotiate, follow through on essential task-based outputs and thrive on lots and lots of client contact, will translate well into this role.
A minimum of 1-2 years of property management experience is preferred for this position.
You will need a current Real Estate Agent Licence or Assistant Agent Certificate, driver's license and access to a reliable car to undertake the role.
If you value hard work, are passionate about people, and have great ambition to do well this might be your new professional career.
