About the Role
As a Technical Solutions Engineer at Prometheus Group, you will act as a trusted technical advisor to both prospects and customers. Partnering closely with our sales team, you'll play a key role in demonstrating solutions, managing technical evaluations, and ensuring our software aligns with customer needs.
This is a customer-facing role where your technical knowledge, consultative skills, and ability to translate business processes into solutions will directly influence our growth and success.
What You'll Do
* Deliver engaging product demonstrations via online meetings, on-site visits, webinars, and industry events.
* Guide prospects through the technical capabilities of Prometheus solutions, mapping features to business outcomes.
* Provide expertise on business processes and workflows, showing how Prometheus can improve efficiency and safety.
* Manage the technical aspects of the sales process, including RFPs, RFIs, and scopes of work.
* Lead and support customer trials and proof of concepts, including consulting, configuration, and training.
* Conduct end-user training for customers and trial users.
* Create functional and technical documentation for new solutions before handoff to support teams.
* Collaborate with sales and internal teams as the voice of technical expertise during the sales cycle.
* Partner with customers to ensure solutions are implemented successfully and deliver measurable value.
What You Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronics, Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum) or a related field.
* Experience with ERP systems such as SAP PM, IBM Maximo, JD Edwards, or Oracle Primavera is highly desirable.
* Strong understanding of maintenance work, plant operations, and safety processes.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
* Highly motivated to own the technical aspects of the sales process.
* Detail-oriented, organised, and driven in preparation and execution.
