Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Asset Management System Lead to oversee and continually enhance our ISO 55001-certifiable asset management system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asset management, preferably with ISO 55001 implementation and certification.
This is a critical leadership role that will directly contribute to expanding AMS implementation across multiple sites, ensuring system integrity, and advancing our asset management maturity. You will join a high-performing team, based at our modern Head Office, which offers a vibrant environment featuring collaborative and quiet spaces, and plenty of natural light.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include:
* Lead the day-to-day management, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the Asset Management System (AMS) to meet ISO 55001 certification requirements.
* Expand AMS implementation across new and existing sites, ensuring consistency and system integrity.
* Develop and integrate the Technical Asset Owner (TAO) framework in alignment with the AMS.
* Facilitate and promote standardized procedures, benchmarking, and communities of practice to uplift asset management maturity.
* Provide expert guidance and leadership on asset management principles, practices, and compliance.
* Support business development efforts by ensuring asset management capabilities meet client expectations and contractual requirements.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, engineering, commercial, and executive teams to drive organisational change and continuous improvement.
* Monitor, review, and report on asset management performance, identifying areas for improvement and risk mitigation.
* Engage with external auditors, certifying bodies, and stakeholders to support ISO 55001 audits and certifications.
About You
* Proven experience in asset management, preferably with ISO 55001 implementation and certification.
* Strong knowledge of asset management frameworks, risk management, and continuous improvement methodologies.
* Excellent project management skills with a demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to influence and drive change at all levels of the organisation.
* Experience in infrastructure, transport, utilities, or service delivery environments is highly desirable.
* Strategic thinker with a practical, hands-on approach to system implementation and operational excellence.
* Relevant tertiary qualifications in engineering, asset management, or a related field.
